Period Promise (formerly known as Tampon Tuesday)
This year we continue our partnership with OC Beauty to tackle period poverty in our community!
Event details: Tuesday, March 4th, and join us at Mane St. Café & Lounge from 5–7 PM for an unforgettable evening of networking and giving back. Your ticket? Just bring 1 unopened box of menstrual products to support this important cause.
Did you know? Menstrual products are one of the most requested items at food banks, yet they are among the least donated. By joining Period Promise, you can help ensure everyone in our community has access to these essential items.
We announce our astonishing success of 1120 unopened products of menstrual products, we reflect on the collective impact achieved by rallying together as a community. Tampon Tuesday 2024 not only addresses immediate needs but sparks conversations around menstrual health, fostering a more inclusive and supportive community for all.
With all of the community support, we received 1100 packages of menstrual products!
#TamponTuesday was a great success- just over 500 boxes of product were received.
This year we collected 574 boxes, totaling 13,541 individual products. With those donations we will be able to provide the supplies for 574 individual periods or for perspective, provide products for 56 women in poverty for a full year.
